Origins: 10 years in the making
In Character briefing:
In long days passed, a standard once stood firmly in the ground across all lands. One that liberated Orcs beyond that which even the Horde was attempting to prove to be able to give to them. That standard was that of the Ironwolves. Founded by a Mok’nathal who was guided by the Spirits to bring life to the stumbling Orcish kind, he eventually found enemies he wouldn’t have expected. Sylvanas’ rule was cruel to leaders of this nature and her reign left the Spirit Champion with nothin more than a life of imprisonment. His next of kin, would take the mantel, a champion with all styles of battle, he led ferocious wars against those who caused the deaths of his clansmen. He honored their deaths for what they died for, the Ancestral Ways. This obsession with such ways would eventually turn against him in a Mak’gora that costed him his life.
Times are desperate and what worked on Draenor will not keep the Orcish people alive. New ways of embracing the Old Ways must be practiced. With a new name, and new leadership, there has arisen a leader who promises to have seen the flaws of the Orcish leaders of the past and to bring about a new era where all that is owed to our people is given to us, or taken by force. We will no longer stand to befriend the Alliance knowing they section us off in deserted lands and only think to keep us at bay when no other threats arise.
Out of Character History:

2015: Kul'rog creates Frostwolf Clan on Emerald Dream server. It blows up and becomes the largest Orc only guild in WoW history. Specializing in RP-WPVP, they shook the server to it's core for years to follow. Eventually, they would lead a roleplay campaign to change names to "Ironworg Clan." They were now autonomous from the Frostwolves.
2017: With the new name, Ironworg Clan, they would survive and carry the servers RP-WPVP on Horde side for some years before the server began to crumble. A plan to continue thriving had to be set in motion if the Orcs were to continue doing what they do best. Slaughtering the Alliance scum.

2017: The clan would seek better opportunities on Wyrmrest and settle with the name "Ironwolf Clan." Here they continued to be the center of Orc roleplay on WoW while now focusing on heavier roleplay. in later years, they would be given new leadership and renamed, "The Ironwolf Legion." They still operate on the server to this day.

2018: Kul'rog in characterly dies, and his father, Kur'gosh, would begin leading the clan in the most desperite of times. He would lead the Orcish people towards a freer world as Sylvanas desecrates all they have known for generations. This would end in his imprisonment.

2019: The original GM would launch the community to begin reliving it's glory days and earliest history in Classic WoW on Grobbulus under their first name and banner. Frostwolf Clan. The guild specialized in WPVP once more. This faction still operates, though it now focuses on raiding.
2025: The original GM returns to retail WoW, as a descendent of Kur'gosh and Kul'rog. inspired to create a guild that would reunite Orcs across all roleplay servers, the clan would take the name "Darkwolf Clan" and quickly gain traction and a massive following.
